Business Development Representative (Remote)

As a Business Development Representative at Timely, you will be instrumental in identifying and creating new opportunities within our target markets.
You will be responsible for the initial outreach and qualification of leads, setting the stage for our Account Executives to close deals.
This role is crucial to Timely's continued growth and expansion in 2025 and beyond. You will have the opportunity to work with cutting-edge technology and contribute to an ambitious, social, and driven work environment that values its employees.
Along with your colleagues in the commercial team, you will play a key role in Timelyʼs current and future growth.
Responsibilities
- Exceed Monthly/Quarterly Sales Qualified Lead (SQL) and meeting set targets
- Conduct proactive outreach via various channels (phone, AI, email, social media) to generate new business opportunities.
- Qualify leads based on established criteria and nurture them through the initial stages of the sales funnel.
- Collaborate closely with Account Executives to ensure a smooth handover of qualified leads.
- Maintain accurate records of all outreach activities and lead information in Hubspot or similar CRM tools.
- Research and identify new target accounts and industries to expand our market reach.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and competitor activities.
- Actively participate in team meetings and contribute to sales strategy discussions.
- Proven track record of success in B2B lead generation or sales development, ideally in a SaaS environment.
- Knowledge of outbound Tech stack including AI
- Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed targets.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to build rapport quickly and effectively.
- Highly organized with excellent time management skills.
- Self-motivated and results-oriented with a strong desire to learn and grow.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Experience with CRM software (We are a hubspot Org)
- You are fluent in English, both written and oral.
- You have a pragmatic, first-principles attitude and are excited by challenges.
- A team player with a strong motivation towards working collaboratively.
- A Self-starter with the ability to think outside of the box.
