Overview

Business Finance Investment Manager – Yorkshire & Humber. Location: Bradford. Work Location: Hybrid in the Bradford office 2 days/week. We operate a 9 day fortnight, which means every other Friday off.

Salary: £32,000.00–£47,423.00 per year depending on experience. Benefits include a 9 Day Fortnight, 25 Days Holiday + Bank Holidays, Bonus Scheme, and salary up to £47k + bonus. This role reports to the Senior Investment Manager and involves supporting SME businesses across Yorkshire & Humber in securing the funding they need.

Responsibilities

• Meet with businesses to assess, evaluate, and write business finance applications, ensuring each deal is thoroughly reviewed and aligned with lending criteria.
• Collaborate with Accountants, Business Advisers, Brokers & Key Stakeholders to grow the Introducer & Stakeholder Network and promote BEF (Yorkshire & Humber).
• Develop and maintain relationships with a wide range of businesses, from start-ups to established enterprises, to help them access the financial resources needed to expand, innovate, and achieve goals.
• Work with cross-functional teams to increase brand awareness and support business growth through funding opportunities.

Qualifications & Skills

• Experience in business lending for SMEs and a strong business network.
• Ability to multi-task and prioritise deadlines to meet customer expectations.
• Good presentation skills and the ability to communicate and interact at all levels of management.
• Proactive self-starter with the ability to self-organise, work independently, and manage multiple priorities.

Location & Working Pattern

Bradford, England, United Kingdom. Hybrid working (2 days per week in the Bradford office). 9 day fortnight schedule with every other Friday off.
