Hybrid – 3 days per week in office
What will you bring?
Unum UK is hiring a Business Improvement Consultant to join the Business Improvement team. This role is responsible for supporting our Journey Leads deliver their objectives in an efficient way through process and technology improvements.
Your communication and effective relationship building skills will be key when partnering with stakeholders across Unum UK and being an ambassador for continual improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Map business processes and identify areas for improvement to deliver a streamlined experience.
- Propose and deliver solutions to business problems, providing challenge and insight throughout.
- Work collaboratively across the business areas, building strong networks and providing support and challenge to relevant change initiatives.
- Partner with the business to develop the pipeline of future change initiatives through business case development and innovation programmes, challenging where strategy is not adhered to and ensuring change is measured following delivery to ensure success criteria are met.
- Identify and escalate key delivery and operational risks to line management and/or project teams ensuring effective mitigation activities.
Required Knowledge and Skills:
- Ability to implement and drive change including demonstrated experience and knowledge of change management principles.
- Proven experience in leading people/process work streams of small-medium projects preferred.
- Takes a logical, analytical approach to problem solving and pays close attention to detail.
