Business Intelligence Analyst - Product & Supplier Management

We are seeking an experienced Business Intelligence Analyst to provide data and insight to the Product and Supplier Management function. This role will drive visibility of key performance indicators and improved efficiencies across each operational area. The role will be responsible for creating, developing, and maintaining reports using the various analytical toolsets available to RS Group. The role will involve some user upskilling to deliver insight, actions, and training to stakeholders across Product and Supplier Management (P&SM).

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Product and Supplier Management, excellent analytical skills, technical development skills, and the ability to influence and drive change across levels of the organisation. You will explore and implement alternative ways of working to meet evolving business needs. This is a hybrid working role with locations in Corby, Manchester or London.

What you'll be doing

  • Creation and Delivery of Technical KPIs: Develop and deliver key performance indicators using Snowflake, Power BI and other RS Group tools.
  • Business Process Analysis and Mapping: Conduct analysis and mapping of business processes to identify areas for improvement.
  • Strategy Execution: Implement data-driven strategies to enhance decision-making, drive operational efficiency and support long-term growth.
  • Detailed Analysis of P&SM KPIs: Monitor and analyze KPIs across multiple areas to identify root causes, generate actionable insights, and track progress.
  • Business Requirements Management: Define and manage business requirements, scope, processes, and reporting/tracking capabilities.
  • Highlighting Areas of Concern: Identify and communicate areas of concern to senior leadership and key stakeholders.
  • Ad-Hoc Reporting and Analysis: Provide ad-hoc reporting and analysis with clear communication of results.
  • Governance and Maintenance of Reports: Maintain and create Product and Supplier Management reports and provide direction for specialists in P&SM.

Essential Skills & Experience

  • Proven track record of delivering execution by planning and prioritising work to meet commitments.
  • Experience with effective stakeholder management.
  • Strong analytical capabilities with ability to interpret data to support decisions and guide others.
  • Results-focused, ambitious, creative, and able to translate concepts into actionable delivery plans.
  • Culturally sensitive with ability to operate in a global business.
  • Autonomous with an inquisitive mindset.
  • Excellent understanding of technical BI solutions (Snowflake SQL, Power BI) and related data warehouses (e.g., SAP BW 7.x) and how they relate to RS Group systems.
  • Experience using Power BI or similar BI toolsets.
  • Proficient in data extraction, manipulation, statistics, and languages such as SQL and Python.
  • Experience in analytical, Product & Supplier Management or Supply Chain roles.
  • Certifications in relevant data and analytics technologies (e.g., Snowflake, Microsoft Azure Data Engineer) are desirable.
