Business Services Recruiting Specialist

The Business Services Recruiting Specialist is an integral part of Latham's Human Capital and Business Services Recruiting team. This role will be responsible for recruiting candidates for Business Services, providing high-touch service to clients and candidates, while proactively recruiting top-tier candidates for staff roles, demonstrating strong decision-making, communication, and time management skills. We have opportunities for candidates to support on both our mid-career hiring as well as our early career hiring. This role will be located in our Manchester office. Please note that this role may be eligible for a flexible working schedule that allows for a hybrid and in-office presence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Acting as a strategic, commercial business partner for the hiring team by being aware of market developments, challenges and opportunities, and using this knowledge to help shape go-to-market strategy
  • Managing full-cycle recruiting tasks and procedures for all assigned requisitions
  • Serving as firm's external-facing representative to candidates by exercising sound judgment and ensuring an excellent candidate experience while performing duties and delivering exceptional client service to hiring managers through professional email interactions, regular meetings, and phone conversations
  • Demonstrating knowledge of all recruiting-related technologies and recruiting best practices, and staying abreast of job requirements, valid selection methods, and equal employment opportunities to ensure adherence to all relevant employment laws
  • Working with recruiting leadership to identify and implement enhancements to the recruitment process, keeping pace with the dynamic nature of recruitment
  • Exhibit well-developed, professional interpersonal skills and the ability to interact effectively with people at all organisational levels of the firm
  • Demonstrate ability to work in a team environment with a customer-service focus
  • Possess ability to review work of others to ensure compliance and accuracy

Requirements:

  • Relevant experience in recruiting, in a global organisation, preferably
  • Experience of early career programme management, preferably, but not required
  • Experience in a professional services environment, preferably
  • A bachelor's degree or equivalent, preferably
  • Proficiency in German language skills, preferably, but not required
