Overview

The University is seeking a Business Support and Finance Administrator to provide administrative support for the School of Biological Sciences business activities. This post involves hybrid working (non-contractual) that combines a mix of remote and regular on-campus working. The post holder will collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure a consistent approach to delivering efficient and effective customer service, with a particular focus on financial reporting and reconciliation.

Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support for the School of Biological Sciences business activities.
  • Support hybrid working arrangements (remote and on-campus) as applicable.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure consistent and efficient customer service.
  • Focus on financial reporting and reconciliation in daily activities.

Your Skills And Attributes For Success

  • Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
  • Microsoft Excel skills above basic level (e.g., familiarity with pivot tables)
  • Proactive approach to seeking information and solving problems
  • Experience in analysing and reconciling financial reports
  • Demonstrable high level of numeracy, accuracy and attention to detail
