Overview:

A prestigious private banking institution in the West End of London is seeking a highly capable Business Support Officer to join their team on a permanent basis. This position offers hybrid working and an attractive salary of up to £60,000 per annum.

This role focuses on supporting a senior banker, particularly in executing and coordinating annual credit and AML (Anti-Money Laundering) reviews. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience within a Business Support function, preferably in private banking or financial services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support a senior banker in delivering annual credit and AML reviews.
• Coordinate preparation, collation, and submission of review documentation according to internal procedures and regulatory standards.
• Ensure timely follow-ups and maintain accurate records of review processes.
• Liaise with compliance and credit teams to uphold governance standards.
• Assist in preparing management information and reports related to client reviews and risk assessments.
• Monitor deadlines and action items to prevent missed review dates.

Key Requirements:

• Proven experience in a Business Support Officer or similar role within private banking or financial services.
• Strong understanding of credit processes and AML regulations, especially regarding client reviews.
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Discretion and professionalism in handling sensitive information.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills for cross-departmental liaising.
