Exadel is committed to service excellence and being a great place to work.LocationLondon, UK and Dublin, Ireland - Hybrid (2 days in office)Qualifications7 years of experience as a business analyst in capital markets, with deep expertise in fixed income (both cash and derivatives)5+ years of Calypso experienceProven hands-on experience with the Calypso platform, including upgrades, configurations, and functional workflowsStrong understanding of fixed income instruments such as bonds, repos, swaps, and derivatives, along with associated trade lifecycle and risk management processesExperience working with front, middle, and back office stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver solutionsSolid knowledge of trade capture, PnL, risk, and settlement workflows within CalypsoExcellent problem-solving and analytical skills with a keen attention to detailStrong communication skills to effectively bridge business and technical teamsAbility to work independently in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities and deadlinesPrevious experience with Calypso upgrades or migrations is highly desirableAdvanced knowledge of system analysis process and techniques, as well as system components, functionality, interfaces, data flows and business rulesAbility to work independentlyExperience and comfort level acting as a subject matter expert and consultantResponsibilitiesWork with technology partners (e.g. Solution Designers and Architects) to research and analyze current state system capabilities and define technology solutions options and recommendationsCollaborate with the Fixed Income team to gather and analyze business requirements across cash and derivatives productsSupport and enhance Calypso platform functionality to align with evolving business needs, ensuring optimal performance and stabilityConduct detailed gap analysis and propose solutions to bridge business requirements with system capabilitiesLead or contribute to the Calypso upgrade process, ensuring seamless integration and minimal impact to existing workflowsDocument workflows, specifications, and system configurations for effective knowledge transfer and maintenancePerform system testing, validation, and troubleshooting of Calypso-related processes across cash and derivative instrumentsWork with technology teams to deliver enhancements and ensure robust data integration and process automationProvide user support and training to stakeholders, maintaining effective communication throughout the project lifecycleStay up to date with market developments in the fixed income space and best practices in Calypso platform managementLegal DisclaimersExadel is an Equal Opportunity Employer - Minority / Women / Disability / Veteran / Gender Identity / Sexual Orientation / AgeReasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functionsPlease note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties, or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job.
