PwC UK is seeking a Capital Projects Services - Senior Manager. This role designs and delivers transformative project and programme management approaches across a wide range of industries, working with senior leaders of major global businesses to optimise capital programmes and deliver intended benefits within budgets and challenging circumstances.

Overview

Our Capital Project Services (CPS) team comprises multi-disciplined professionals with experience delivering capital projects across sectors including Defense, Transport, Aerospace, Oil & Gas, Government & Healthcare, Energy, Utilities and Resources. We help clients secure optimum value from their projects or business and provide the expertise to navigate complex situations.

What Your Days Will Look Like

As a Senior Manager, you’ll work as part of a problem-solving team with extensive consulting and industry experience, helping clients solve complex business issues from strategy to execution.

Responsibilities

• Proactively assist in the management of several clients, while reporting to Directors and above;
• Train and lead staff;
• Establish effective working relationships directly with clients;
• Contribute to the development of your own and team's technical acumen;
• Keep up to date with local and national business and economic issues;
• Be actively involved in business development activities to help identify and research opportunities on new/existing clients;
• Continue to develop internal relationships and your PwC brand.

Qualifications & Experience

• The ability to lead a team to deliver projects and solutions;
• Ability to build trusted relationships with teams, clients and stakeholders and to innovate to deliver outputs;
• Experience in leading management of contracts, suppliers, or projects with an understanding of core delivery principles;
• Self-awareness and ambition to continuously develop skills;
• Management consulting experience, including operating and delivery models;
• Exposure to capital planning and/or asset management environments;
• Digital transformation / technology consulting;
• Commercial experience in supply chain management, procurement, and contract negotiations.
