This role is pivotal in shaping the future of Software & Cloud Services spend, driving innovative commercial initiatives across the organization. In this exciting position, a solid understanding of the Cloud technology landscape and Agile delivery models will be essential!
Responsibilities
- Support leadership and influencing activities among stakeholders, finance and suppliers to drive companywide commercial initiatives in the Software & Cloud Services spends
- Have a working knowledge of the Cloud technology space and contracting for Agile delivery models
- Help Identify and facilitate conversations with stakeholders regarding opportunities for technology innovation
- Accountable for category critical metric progress (e.g. Productivity, Vendor Rationalisation)
- Support the building of market insight to identify trends in and translate them into category strategies/plans and robust actions leading to efficiency improvements
- Negotiate contracts with SaaS suppliers
- Build and maintain Global supplier base - incl. contracting, negotiations, risk management, sustainability and supplier performance

Indirect Materials and Services Sourcing is a global organization focused on driving excellence in sourcing, and to be strong business partners with internal stakeholders while driving supplier relationship management. The organization is responsible for Facility, Travel, Professional Services and IT categories procurement globally.
The LEGO Group expands globally and the procurement team needs additional resources to manage the growing demand.
What You’ll Need
- Proven experience with IT sourcing experience – Software/SaaS Services
- Understanding and experience negotiating SaaS contracts and related commercial/licence models
- Preferable global category management experience, minimum EMEA category management experience
- Knowledge of developing sourcing strategies
- Knowledge of supporting agile processes, fast contracting with start-ups for pilots and experimentation
- Understanding of procurement processes and the software & services vendor landscape
- Advanced communication skills, the ability to interact with confidence with individuals at various levels and influence
- Experience of leading and delivering multiple projects successfully
- It would be beneficial to have knowledge and experience of manufacturing and operating software technology
The position is based in Billund, DK or London, UK and relocation support is not offered for this role.
