Global Category Manager - Gaming
Location: London or Leeds HQ (2 days a week) or Gibraltar HQ (4 days week)
Up to £70K + Bonus + Benefits
A leading global technology organisation is seeking an energetic and highly commercial Category Manager – Gaming to join their Group Procurement team. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a pivotal role in shaping sourcing strategies across some of the most dynamic and innovative areas in the sector.
Operating as part of the wider Group Finance function, Procurement is responsible for driving value and optimising all third-party spend across the business. As Category Manager, you’ll take ownership of the gaming category, building and executing strategic pipelines, forging strong relationships with key stakeholders, and ensuring robust, value-driven supplier partnerships.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Developing and executing category strategies across Gaming, aligned to commercial and product requirements.
- Identifying value opportunities within the supplier and product landscape by partnering with Product & Commercial stakeholders.
- Leading end-to-end procurement activity across retail and digital domains, acting as a subject matter expert in sourcing and negotiation.
- Analysing supply markets, identifying opportunities, threats, trends, and regulatory changes.
- Ensuring compliance with procurement policies, standards, and best practice.
- Building productive relationships with key stakeholders and suppliers, working closely with the Supplier Relationship Management team.
About You
- Proven experience in strategic sourcing and category management within the gaming sector (e.g. Live Casino, Slots, Table Games, Poker).
- Strong commercial acumen with evidence of delivering value in high-value, complex procurement initiatives.
- Excellent negotiation and stakeholder management skills; contractually literate and comfortable working with legal teams.
- Strong analytical and numeracy skills with the ability to extract insights from complex data sets.
- Experience with revenue-based/gain-share models, mobile or social gaming, and digital platforms would be highly advantageous.
- Knowledge of ESG and Scope 3 emissions within supply chains is desirable.
