In this development opportunity, you'll be responsible for providing new and existing Corporate clients of American Express with their first experience of our industry-leading onboarding process.
You will consult with Corporate Card clients acting as the primary contact for Global Commercial Services (GCS). You will lead the onboarding of international clients with support from Business Development Managers. You'll advise clients on legal and regulatory requirements and carry the contract through to completion, ensuring all documentation is provided and compliant to launch American Express' commercial relationships. You'll also have the opportunity to lead business transformation projects with local and regional impact across the organization.

The Central Onboarding Team (COT) is based in Brighton. The role of Implementation Specialist is an exciting opportunity for a self-motivated, results-driven individual who enjoys being part of a team, managing partners, and building relationships.
How will you make an impact in this role?
This role is critical to the success of the German Sales and Account Management Teams. You are responsible for ensuring a smooth and seamless end-to-end implementation, driving billings and growth by creating ease for our clients to use and manage their card programs.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the implementation of new and expanding corporate clients, fostering a deep and valued relationship before passing the account to the account management teams. The role involves end-to-end implementation of new and expanding German Corporate Accounts (Card and Business Travel Accounts).
Minimum Qualifications
- Onboarding of clients by completing application forms and collecting all legal documents required to launch the implementation.
- Ensuring the smooth setup of all aspects of the account, including identifying missing information, managing the card member application process, internal platform, Corporate/Personal Membership Rewards, Billing Support Files, payment methods, and other scope requirements.
- Inputting new and expanding corporate client data into risk tools and setting up the client’s program accordingly.
- Taking ownership of projects that develop and enhance existing tools and processes.
- Providing premium and dedicated advisory services to new commercial clients throughout implementation and enrollment.
- Conducting early engagement calls and emails to drive card activation, identifying and addressing zero or below potential billers to increase charge volume.
- Monitoring billing and payment processes by liaising directly with new customers at key times to ensure accurate billing and settlements.
- Collaborating with Sales, Account Sales, and Implementation Managers to achieve successful implementation and handover to relevant teams.
