The Role

The role of CEO EA and EA Lead offers a dynamic opportunity to have a direct impact on the company’s efficiency and success, providing comprehensive support across various facets of operations at Wayve.

A key responsibility is managing the CEO’s calendar, travel, inbox, and strategic engagements, ensuring seamless scheduling and logistics across multiple time zones and locations, including London and our other office sites. You will act as a trusted gatekeeper and liaison on the CEO’s behalf. You’ll contribute to keeping the CEO focused on the most high-impact work, helping to prioritise critical engagement and align timespend with key strategic objectives.

You will work closely with the CEO’s Chief of Staff, providing hands-on support with meeting preparation, agenda compilation, note taking and action tracking, generally ensuring meetings are efficient and outcomes are followed through. You'll have visibility and involvement in high-priority internal initiatives and business operations, supporting the Chief of Staff in implementing the company operating rhythm and processes.

As Team Lead for the EA function, you will manage and mentor the EA team, fostering a collaborative and high-performing culture. You’ll oversee workload distribution, team development, best practice sharing, and ensure that the EA team as a whole is tightly aligned to leadership needs across the business. You would be working closely with the wider EA team on coordinating executive/leadership initiatives, special company-wide communications and events, or providing cover for execs whether for sickness or holiday absences.

About you

In order to set you up for success as an EA at Wayve, we’re looking for the following skills and experience.

This is a full-time role based in our office a minimum of four days a week, alongside the CEO. At Wayve we want the best of all worlds so we operate a hybrid working policy that combines time together in our offices and workshops to fuel innovation, culture, relationships and learning, and time spent working from home, though as an office lead it will be important to be in the office on a very regular basis.

We understand that everyone has a unique set of skills and experiences and that not everyone will meet all of the requirements listed above. If you’re passionate about self-driving cars and think you have what it takes to make a positive impact on the world, we encourage you to apply.

DISCLAIMER: We will not ask about marriage or pregnancy, care responsibilities or disabilities in any of our job adverts or interviews. However, we do look to capture information about care responsibilities, and disabilities among other diversity information as part of an optional DEI Monitoring form to help us identify areas of improvement in our hiring process and ensure that the process is inclusive and non-discriminatory.
