Globeducate is one of the leading international K12 education groups in the world, a network of 65+ premium bilingual and international schools, as well as online programmes, educating 40,000 students in 11 countries.
We are currently seeking a CEO for the UK & Cyprus, a key leadership role reporting directly to the Global CEO. This role offers a unique opportunity to drive growth and excellence across a dynamic region that includes the UK, Cyprus, and future emerging markets.
The successful candidate can be based anywhere in the UK or Cyprus, and will work closely with the global executive team to ensure strategic alignment, stakeholder engagement, and strong financial performance across the region.
This is an exceptional opportunity for a values-driven, commercially minded leader with a passion for education and a proven track record at C-level in growth-focused environments, ideally within private equity-backed organisations.
KEY FUNCTIONS
- Define and implement the regional strategy in alignment with Globeducate’s global vision and objectives.
- Oversee the performance of the schools in the region, ensuring high standards of education, compliance, and operational excellence.
- Ensure consistent application of Globeducate standards across the region, including safeguarding, quality assurance, and regulatory compliance.
- Lead financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and performance monitoring for the region.
- Ensure profitability, sustainable growth, and alignment with group financial targets.
- Deliver clear financial reporting and risk management.
- Lead, inspire, and support the regional staff.
- Foster a high-performance and values-driven culture.
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor's degree and a relevant master's degree.
- A minimum of 10 years’ experience at C level and a proven track record of achieving success and growth.
- Strong focus on people
- Experience in a private equity backed company
- Exceptional strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Strong financial acumen and the ability to manage budgets effectively.
- Outstanding communication and negotiation abilities.
- Entrepreneurial mindset and the ability to adapt to a rapidly evolving industry.
- Fluency in English; other languages are an asset.
