Carlsberg Britvic is the largest multi-beverage supplier in the UK and is home to some of the most iconic and popular beers & soft drinks, including Carlsberg Danish Pilsner, 1664, Poretti and Brooklyn to ale favourites such as Hobgoblin and Wainwright. For soft drinks, Carlsberg Britvic’s brands include J2O, Robinsons, Tango and London Essence along with the licence rights to the Pepsi portfolio in the UK including Pepsi MAX, 7UP, Lipton Iced Tea and Rockstar Energy.

With a strong national footprint, the Carlsberg Britvic business includes 6 production facilities and 16 logistics depot’s servicing customers up and down the UK. As these two historical businesses have come together, the one common goal remains, and that is ensuring our people succeed.

About the role

You will play a key role in supporting the financial performance, planning and decision making for a range of customers. Driving insight, value and ensuring strong financial governance across our customers, this role will be highly visible, in a collaborative environment with the opportunity to build relationships across the business.

If you are interested in joining our journey, we are now recruiting for a Channel Finance Manager (Off Trade). Reporting to the Finance Business Partner, this role will play a key part of our success journey, and you will have the opportunity to be involved in the following:

Responsibilities

  • Provide clear, actionable insight into the customer(s) performance to the Account Directors and their teams, including analysis against budget, forecast and prior year.
  • Identify risks and opportunities early and work with cross-functional partners to mitigate, ensuring insight to forecasting and budgeting, helping shape plans that are both ambitious and grounded.
  • Support the rolling forecast and budget process, helping to build robust, deliverable plans with clear assumptions and clear risks and opportunities identified.
  • Constructively challenge customer business partners to help deliver the best short and long-term outcomes for Carlsberg Britvic.
  • Simplifying processes, systems and data to improve governance, identifying opportunities to improve, drive value and collaborate with the wider teams.
  • Help build the financial capability of the Off Trade Channel Finance team—coaching, supporting, and sharing your expertise.
  • Ensure Channel finance processes are clear, documented and understood, supporting in any development needed in the wider finance team by offering feedback and sharing knowledge.
  • Protect the business by ensuring a high level of financial governance and control across all trade investment and capital.
  • Champion an ROI improvement culture for all customer investments and support the evaluation of terms proposals for your customer(s) with post reviews of investment to identify learnings to improve effectiveness and returns from future investments.

Experience and Key Attributes

  • CIMA qualified with experience (other financial qualifications will also be considered).
  • Strong analytical thinking—you’re confident working with numbers and can translate complex financial data into clear, actionable insight for non-finance colleagues.
  • A proactive, can-do mindset with the drive to make things happen and see things through.
  • Solid commercial awareness and a strategic mindset—you understand the bigger picture and how finance fits into it.
  • The ability to build strong relationships, engage and influence across different teams and levels.
  • A natural problem-solver who’s comfortable with ambiguity and can find pragmatic solutions to complex challenges.
  • Experience in FMCG is a plus—whether from a manufacturer or retailer background.
