Responsibilities

  • Undertake Level 2 and Level 3 residential building surveys, homebuyer reports, and condition surveys.
  • Carry out defect analysis, diagnosis, and reporting, providing clear recommendations.
  • Deliver professional advice to clients on property maintenance, repair, refurbishment, and compliance.
  • Prepare detailed technical reports, schedules of condition, and specifications of works.
  • Oversee and administer small to medium-scale refurbishment and maintenance projects.
  • Manage client relationships, ensuring a high standard of service delivery.
  • Collaborate with colleagues across surveying and project management teams to support wider business services.

Qualifications

  • Degree qualified in Building Surveying or a related discipline.
  • RICS Chartered Building Surveyor
  • Proven experience in the residential sector, with a strong track record of completing Level 2 and Level 3 surveys.
  • Strong technical knowledge of building pathology and construction methods.
  • Excellent report writing and communication skills, with the ability to explain complex issues clearly to clients.
  • Commercially aware, client-focused, and able to manage workloads independently.
  • Team-oriented with strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative approach.
