We’re an award-winning structural engineering design practice with offices in Bath and London. We’re excited to be recruiting for talented engineers to join our team – with the option to be based in either location.
The successful candidates will have a proven track record in structural design across a wide variety of projects. At Integral Engineering Design, personality and excellent communication skills are key, as you’ll be liaising with clients and colleagues daily. This is a superb opportunity to develop your career, widen your responsibilities, and join a highly skilled practice of structural and civil engineers working on a diverse range of projects.
Why Join Us?
- Be part of an experienced and dynamic team driving innovative projects in sectors including education, culture and leisure, and heritage.
- Work in a company that specialises in timber structures, theatres, reuse, historic structures and SuDS.
- Choose to be based in Bath or London, both with close-knit, collaborative teams.
- Grow your career in a practice that supports professional development and long-term progression.
- Work with architects and clients who share our values of design excellence and collaboration.
About You:
- You are a Chartered Engineer with either the Institution of Structural Engineers or the Institution of Civil Engineers.
- You bring extensive design experience with a range of materials, on both reuse and new build projects.
- You’re passionate about solving problems, delivering high-quality work, and making a difference.
- You care about sustainability and reducing the carbon footprint of your projects through reuse strategies and material choices.
About the Role:
This is a full-time permanent role, though we welcome applications from candidates who can offer near full-time hours.
We offer a hybrid working pattern, typically with two days a week from home, helping to balance flexibility with maintaining a strong in-office culture.
The salary range for the position is £39,000-£45,000 depending on location and experience. Benefits include pension, annual leave with time off between Christmas and New Year (plus the option to purchase additional leave), enhanced maternity/paternity benefits, life insurance, group income protection, cycle to work scheme, Employee Assistance Programmes, and funding for an annual professional subscription. We also have a policy of finishing at 3.30pm on the last Friday of each month (pro-rated for part-time staff). All staff benefit from a generous training provision including weekly CPD sessions and team events such as the annual company day and business day.
