Responsibilities

  • Implement and support Checkpoint firewall solutions across enterprise environments.
  • Manage firewall configurations, policies, and troubleshooting for critical systems.
  • Work closely with network and infrastructure teams on project delivery and escalation support.
  • Contribute to ongoing security improvement initiatives.
  • Participate in on-call rotation (paid separately).
  • Maintain up-to-date documentation and adhere to change management procedures.

Skills / Must Have

  • Strong hands-on experience with Checkpoint firewalls.
  • Knowledge of implementation, configuration, and maintenance within enterprise environments.
  • CCSA or CCSE certification (preferred but not essential).
  • Good understanding of networking fundamentals, routing, and security principles.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Collaborative and team-focused mindset.

Compensation and Location

£45,000 – £65,000 per annum (depending on experience)

Location: Based in Knaresborough (hybrid working – days in office TBC)
