What You’ll Lead

• A vibrant publishing and media business, including books, periodicals, apps, and events.
• The Church Times – the UK’s only Anglican newspaper, with a growing digital presence.
• A thriving Christian bookshop near Westminster Abbey and a distribution hub in Norwich.
• Charitable initiatives supporting music, theology, and ministry to the disadvantaged.

Your Mission

As Chief Executive, you will :

• Develop and deliver a bold strategy for growth, innovation, and impact.
• Forge partnerships across the church, cultural, and publishing sectors.
• Champion the organisation’s mission nationally and internationally.
• Ensure operational excellence, financial sustainability, and strong governance.
• Inspire and lead a talented team across multiple locations.

You are :

• A strategic and entrepreneurial leader with a track record of transformation.
• Commercially astute, with strong financial and business planning skills.
• Deeply sympathetic to the Christian faith and ethos of Hymns Ancient & Modern.
• Experienced in publishing, media, or charity leadership.
• A collaborative and inspiring people leader, visible and approachable.
• A confident ambassador, ready to represent the organisation at the highest levels.
