We are partnering with a well-established technology business to appoint a Chief Product & Technology Officer (CPTO). This is a pivotal executive role for a proven product and technology leader who can set the vision, drive innovation, and deliver market-leading solutions in a business at a crucial point in its growth journey.

The Opportunity

Our client is a long-established leader in its field, with an enviable market position and strong customer base. However, the next stage of its journey requires fresh thinking, stronger product differentiation, and a modernised technology approach to stay ahead of fast-moving competitors.

As CPTO, you will:

  • Define and lead the organisation’s product and innovation strategy, shaping the long-term roadmap.
  • Modernise the product portfolio, ensuring offerings remain competitive, relevant, and value-driven.
  • Build and scale a standalone engineering function, while leading existing teams across pre-sales solutions architecture, cloud, and deposit management.
  • Partner closely with the executive leadership team to align technology and product initiatives with business growth and customer needs.
  • Champion a customer-centric mindset, embedding user feedback into product development.
  • Drive adoption of new technologies to accelerate innovation and efficiency.

Candidate Profile

We are seeking an exceptional leader who combines strategic vision with practical delivery. The successful candidate will bring:

  • A strong track record of leading product and technology functions, ideally within complex or long-standing businesses.
  • Proven experience taking new products to market and successfully repackaging existing offerings.
  • Technical credibility, with a background in engineering or related disciplines.
  • Ability to navigate complex organisations, manage multiple stakeholders, and balance short-term delivery with long-term transformation.
  • Resilience, pragmatism, and the ability to thrive in an evolving, high-expectation environment.
  • Passion for innovation, customer impact, and building high-performing teams.

What’s on Offer

  • Bonus: 20%
  • Benefits: Company car and comprehensive package

This is an outstanding opportunity to lead transformation in a well-established technology business, bringing fresh vision and executional excellence to ensure long-term market leadership.

If you are excited by the chance to define and deliver a future-ready product and technology strategy, we’d love to hear from you.
