Service Care Solutions are currently working alongside a local authority based in Manchester to find a Childcare Solicitor to join their expanding legal team.

Job Overview

This is an excellent opportunity to work amongst legal experts and progress your career.

The role pays a competitive rate of: PAYE (Inc.Hol) - £44.48 - £48.87 per hour and Umbrella - £50-£55 per hour.

This role is on a temporary basis with potential to be long term.

Responsibilities

  • Able to handle high caseload in childcare cases from start to completion.
  • To work with the other team members in improving services and making the most of resources.
  • To provide representation on legal work on behalf of the council, and where appropriate.
  • Able to do advocacy when needed.

About You

A qualified lawyer with at least 3 years of experience in child care law, able to draft legal documents to a high quality standard, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
