We have a fantastic opportunity within our Group Transformation team for aContinuous Improvement Consultant.In this role,you will lead the development, deployment, and assurance of Continuous Improvement and Problem Solving.

You’ll be focusing on the Continuous Improvement by means of training and coaching within change programmes, project streams and business areas.

Each day will be different as you look to identify continuous improvement ways of working across the organisation. The role will be based at our head office in Coventry City Centre.

Some of your other key accountabilities will include:

  • Utilisation and implementation of CI (LSS) tools and techniques across a variety of business areas whilst upskilling people in the line to ensure the changes are embedded and sustained.
  • Leading on benefits identification across End-to-End processes and managing the interdependencies.
  • Provide development and coaching to colleagues within the internal team in areas of expertise.
  • Coach Team Managers and Business Leads on CI tools and techniques to develop sustainable capability.
  • Provide support and advice on Continuous Improvement ways of working to Business Leaders.
  • Creating workshop designs to facilitate a Variety of different sessions/ topics across various business areas and stakeholder groups.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

To be considered for this role, you’ll have extensive experience of managing and re‑engineering processes and business performance across a range of functions with a positive outcome. The successful candidate will have knowledge of a broad range of change management, lean, agile and six sigma techniques and will have experience of leading and delivering projects with management groups. Experience with Capital Design and Delivery in the Utilities industry would be ideal.
