Role: Cash in Transit Officer
Location: Warrington, WA1 4RR
Salary: £34,556.62 per annum
Shifts: 45 hours per week across 4 or 5 days, 4:20 am–8:00 pm (11.25 h or 9 h including paid breaks)

About the Role

As a Cash in Transit Officer, you’ll help ensure the safe and secure transport of cash and valuables between locations, supporting service delivery while mitigating business risks. No two shifts are alike; you’ll alternate between driving and courier duties, working solo or alongside a partner.

Main Responsibilities

• Work alone or with a partner as a driver or courier.
• Service ATM machines, ensuring secure transportation and deployment of cash.
• Follow company processes and complete all required documentation to meet operational targets.
• Drive and park company vehicles responsibly in line with the Highway Code, company policy and health and safety procedures.
• Maintain effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders to deliver efficient service.
• Communicate clearly with colleagues and branch management to address issues promptly.

Key Requirements

• Full 10‑year continuous employment and education history (any gaps must be explained).
• Valid Full UK driving licence (≤ 6 penalty points).
• Valid CVIT SIA licence desirable; can be obtained via fully funded training.
• Conscientious driving with full adherence to the Highway Code.
• Ability to follow instructions and meet tight deadlines.
