Job Description

Our client, a leading consultancy within the water sector, is looking for experienced Civil Design Engineers to support Yorkshire Water AMP8 projects on a contract basis. This is a fantastic opportunity to work fully remotely on a long-term contract.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Support the Storm Overflow Alliance (SOA) on projects involving CSOs, storage, and sewer upgrades.
2. Contribute to the Strategic Planning Partnership (SPP) with feasibility studies, optioneering, and early-stage infrastructure planning.
3. Work on both infrastructure and non-infrastructure clean water and wastewater projects.
4. Ensure design compliance with regulatory and industry standards.
5. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver project objectives.
6. Prepare detailed reports and documentation as required.
7. Provide technical guidance and support to junior team members.

Job Requirements:

• Experience in civil engineering within the water sector.
• Strong understanding of design principles and regulatory standards.
• Proficiency in using relevant engineering software.
• Ability to produce high-quality design documentation and reports.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively.
