We are looking to appoint an exceptional Civil Engineer to work on various projects within our Civil Engineering team in Glasgow. You will support the management and delivery of projects including water, defence, active travel, public realm, commercial, and residential sectors. Take a look at some of our projects here.
As a Civil Engineer, you will assist with technical specifications, reports, and designs, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget. You will also conduct technical/quality reviews and participate in design reviews and site visits as needed.
Our Civil Engineering discipline offers a supportive and collaborative environment, with hands-on guidance and career development opportunities. You will have the chance to achieve chartered status with mentorship and access to workshops and seminars.

About You
You will be a knowledgeable Civil Engineer with relevant experience and a desire to learn and progress. Our ideal candidate must have:
- A degree or equivalent in civil engineering, working towards a professional qualification.
- Relevant experience in Scottish and UK development-related civil engineering and design standards, on various projects from feasibility to construction.
- Competency and good knowledge of industry design software such as Civil 3D, InfoDrainage, Site 3D.
Excellent interpersonal skills to develop collaborative relationships. It would be beneficial to have:
- The desire to undertake CPD and increase skills and knowledge.
- Commercial awareness and understanding of different contract types.
- Problem-solving skills and accountability for work.
- Good report writing and presentation skills.
- Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple tasks with limited supervision.
