Senior Civil Engineer – Role Overview
To be considered for the Senior Civil Engineer role, you must hold Chartered status, or be working towards chartership or equivalent industry experience. If you are not yet Chartered, you can join us as a Civil Engineer and progress to the Senior role with our structured development plan.
Salary ranges: Civil Engineer £45,551.85; Senior Civil Engineer £49,133.22.
Responsibilities
- Support activities to resolve ground and building instability and subsidence throughout the UK.
- Investigate and address the impacts of historic coal and metal mines.
- Travel to remote sites across the UK, regularly visiting sites as part of the engineering team.
- Work closely with multidisciplinary teams to design and implement remediation solutions.
Qualifications
- Passionate about using engineering skills to make a difference.
- Design experience in civil engineering, structural, geotechnical or mining‑related fields.
- Committed to minimising environmental impact and championing sustainability.
- Valid UK driving licence.

Hybrid working (average 2 days at the Mansfield office).
