Overview

Graduate Civil Engineer – We\'re looking for Graduate Civil Engineers to join our NRNN & Transportation teams based across various Southern locations.

Locations: Oxfordshire, East Sussex, Plymouth, Luton – with flexibility to travel/relocate across the region. UK assessment days will run throughout Jan & Feb 2026, where you can indicate openness to other locations.

Starting Salary: £30,000 per annum with potential £4,750 car allowance depending on eligibility. Pathway: Permanent, Full-time 2-year programme, leading to assistant level role upon completion with salary potential of circa £38k. Starting date: September 2026.

What you will be responsible for

As a Graduate Civil Engineer, you\'ll be an essential part of our engineering team, helping to shape the future of construction across the UK. You\'ll have the chance to work in a variety of teams, either on-site where the action happens or in a design-based role, depending on where your interests lie.

What will your day-to-day duties include

  • Assisting in the preparation and management of project designs, plans, and specifications
  • Supporting the development and monitoring of project schedules and budgets
  • Conducting site visits to ensure compliance with design specifications, safety standards, and quality requirements
  • Collaborating with project managers and engineers to solve technical issues and ensure project success
  • Preparing technical reports, documentation, and providing project updates

We\'re looking for people due to graduate in 2026, or have recently graduated within the past three years, with a degree in Civil Engineering.
