Civils Co-Ordinator

We are experiencing a fantastic period of growth, and to support this, we are looking to hire a Civils Coordinator to join our organization.
What are we looking for?
We seek an organized, self-motivated, and enthusiastic individual to join our new Civils Team. This hybrid role suits someone with previous experience in Civils. Sitting within the Project Management function, the role involves coordinating Civils activities between planning, management, and delivery functions and plays an integral part in the success of our Civil product deployment. As the department develops, opportunities for progression will arise.
What will you be doing?
- Managing the program through the Civils process.
- Handling line searches and dealing with Cadent Section 58s and Main oil lines.
- Programming works for each contractor.
- Submitting and managing highway permits & notices covering Manchester & Birmingham.
- Managing the registration of street work permits.
- Overseeing the workflow of permits and street works notices across the project to ensure all are completed within client SLAs.
- Prioritizing tasks effectively to meet all deadlines for permitting.
- Applying for bus stop suspensions.
- Applying for light switch-offs.
- Requesting, receiving, and assessing Traffic Management drawings before permitting.
- Updating internal trackers and schedules.
- Ensuring all works are compliant with NRSWA and dealing with issues/requests from relevant Local Authorities.
- Ensuring notices and permits are opened and closed on time to prevent fines from Local Authorities.
- Assisting with reporting and assessing defect and Section 81 notifications.
- Providing timely and accurate responses to internal and external inquiries from Local Authorities and Project Teams.
- Managing team coordinators to ensure site completion to high standards and within SLAs.
- Creating and maintaining site files, both electronic and physical.
- Participating in weekly calls with contractors.
- Attending bi-weekly meetings with the council.
