As Claims Manager, you will be at the frontline of that transformation. You’ll be the trusted partner to our insurance clients, leading the entire customer journey from initial engagement through to ongoing value delivery. Key Responsibilities

Market Development & Business Building

  • Establish AutoGrab\'s UK insurance vertical
  • Leverage existing industry relationships and reputation to secure initial customers and strategic partnerships
  • Conduct comprehensive market analysis to identify high-value opportunities across the UK insurance value chain
  • Develop go-to-market strategies tailored specifically to UK insurance market dynamics
  • Build and maintain a robust pipeline of prospects, tracking progress toward ARR targets

Industry Expertise & Knowledge Transfer

  • Serve as the UK insurance market expert for the broader AutoGrab team
  • Educate global colleagues on UK-specific regulatory requirements, market practices, and competitive landscape
  • Identify and articulate UK insurance use cases and problem statements that AutoGrab\'s technology can solve
  • Translate UK market insights into actionable product development priorities
  • Create market intelligence reports and competitive analysis for internal stakeholders
  • Own the full sales cycle from lead qualification through contract negotiation and closing
  • Run demonstrations, present commercial models, and manage the end-to-end onboarding process.
  • Maintain pipeline, activity, and opportunity tracking in Monday.com.
  • Engage external partners including middleware and integration providers to drive product compatibility and customer value.
  • Collaborate with the Product and Development teams to prioritise feature development based on customer feedback.
  • Test new features in non-prod environments and gather structured feedback.
  • Contribute to business cases for new features, including commercial potential and customer ROI.
  • Work closely with the Head of Insurance to set and monitor strategic priorities, OKRs, and customer success metrics.

Customer Success & Relationship Management

  • Be the primary contact for AutoGrab’s insurance customers and partners nationally.
  • Drive engagement, usage, and satisfaction with AutoGrab’s platform and services.
  • Proactively maintain regular contact with key stakeholders; track industry movements and identify strategic opportunities.
  • Deliver onboarding, refresher, and ad hoc training for users and enterprise accounts.
  • Respond swiftly to technical, user-based, or strategic queries — supported by tools such as Zendesk and internal product teams.
  • Prepare and deliver weekly and monthly insights reports, PoC reviews, and usage summaries to customers.

Reporting & Forecasting

  • Monitor customer usage trends and forecast monthly revenue outcomes.
  • Maintain detailed reporting in spreadsheets and dashboards (e.g. ThoughtSpot), and contribute to EOM billing processes with finance.
  • Lead monthly agreement reviews, tracking renewals and identifying up-sell/cross-sell opportunities.

Marketing, Industry Engagement & Thought Leadership

  • Work with the Comms & Marketing team to co-develop content including white papers, case studies, and industry articles.
  • Represent AutoGrab at industry events, assessors’ forums, and insurance conferences.
  • Contribute to internal communications such as the weekly newsletter and document knowledge management.

Who You Are

  • A seasoned insurance or motor claims professional with 10+ years’ experience across assessing, claims, or repair operations.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with experience building new business lines or entering new markets
  • Trade-qualified (ideally automotive) with corporate-level experience in operations, customer, or business development roles.
  • Commercially minded and capable of building C-level relationships in complex organisations.
  • Comfortable working independently in a fast-paced, remote-first environment.
  • A structured, solutions-oriented problem solver who can balance strategic goals with day-to-day operational needs.
  • Experienced with CRM, reporting platforms (e.g., ThoughtSpot), and customer service tools (e.g., Zendesk, Monday.com).
