We’re hiring for a Client Director as part of dentsu X in London.
Purpose of the Role
The purpose of this role is to provide strategic recommendations and manage all resources to ensure the Client’s marketing needs are met. They are viewed as a trusted advisor to client, understands and articulates client business insights and leverages to contribute ways to move business forward, lead and monitor the day-to-day activities; proactively identify new business building insights and opportunities, manage, motivate and develop their team; work with other departments to develop and execute strategies that will build the Client’s business.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver innovative media plans that excite clients, create value, and deliver ambitious incremental income.
- Build strong relationships with your counterparts within Heineken and the creative agency to deliver TTL media plans whilst demonstrating outstanding client service.
- Support the Client Partner to challenge and probe client briefs. Ensure you have complete clarity and agreement on client objectives. Take total ownership of briefs across your brands all the way through to activation.
- Work with the Managing Partner and Client Partner to deliver excellent client service.
- Day-to-day management of campaigns and clients will require you to be highly organised.
- Confident user of all dentsu and non-dentsu tools to deliver ad hoc insights and planning recommendations as and when requested.
- Manage and develop the Account Manager as their line manager.
- Support 1 wider agency workstreams (client, people, product, work, profile)
- Act as a business adviser to consult your clients.
Qualifications + Skills
- Solid experience within a media role or agency, client facing is preferable alongside people management experience.
- Experience developing media strategies across the full media landscape, including AV, digital, OOH and partnerships.
- Well-versed in media planning within an agency environment and experienced with planning tools.
- Experience managing annual high-level budgets with multiple campaigns / bursts.
- Skilled at translating information between clients and media teams to deliver the best outcomes.
