Your responsibilities

- Act as the strategic finance partner to client leadership teams, focusing on growth, profitability, efficiency, and long‑term planning.
- Oversee automated financial systems, monthly management accounts, budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and compliance.
- Ensure client businesses are audit‑ready and well‑equipped for fundraising, investment, or exit planning.
- Bring objective insight, financial discipline, and structured strategic thinking to client engagements.

- Uphold and promote Gravitate’s core values: being kind, bold, collaborative, results‑driven, and people‑focused.
About you

- Strong strategic capability with hands‑on expertise in management accounts, forecasting, modelling, cash flow and compliance.
- Tech‑savvy, and proficient with Xero, QuickBooks, Sage, FreeAgent and other digital finance systems.
- Able to work at our Sheffield office under a hybrid work schedule.
- A clear and personable communicator, able to build trust and influence at senior stakeholder levels.
- Someone who leads by example; collaborative, supportive, friendly, and honest.
- Excited to work with diverse scaling businesses and their owners.
- Uncapped pay based on your team’s revenue; your success and leadership directly drive your rewards.
- The opportunity to create genuine relationships with leading business owners across Sheffield and beyond.
- Be part of a driven, award‑winning team that values authenticity and teamwork in a modern Sheffield office.
- Generous holiday allowance (including your birthday off!), career development opportunities, and a relaxed dress code.

- Flexible working arrangements; no timesheets, just outcomes.
