A successful accountancy practice based in Launceston has a requirement for a Client Manager with progression, taking on a client portfolio of wide ranging industry sole traders, partnerships and limited company OMBs & SMEs, ensuring a quality service across both hands on and review of year end accounts, tax and wider services, managing teams and working closely with the Partners as key right hand support with a clear progression path on offer.
Responsibilities
- Manage a client portfolio including sole traders, partnerships and limited company OMBs & SMEs, delivering high-quality accounting, tax and wider services.
- Lead on the delivery of year-end accounting, reviews, tax compliance and advisory/planning work.
- Provide hands-on accounting support while mentoring, training and reviewing work with your team; support Partners as a key right-hand.
- Develop client relationships, add value through advisory and planning projects, and contribute to the firm’s growth.
Profile / Qualifications
- Open to candidates with AAT, ACA/ACCA/CTA qualifications or with an experienced-only background.
- Experience in accountancy practice at or around managerial level across small, medium, or larger independent firms, or Top 50/Top Tier environments.
- Strong all-round accounts/tax background in general practice and a clear desire for career progression within the firm.
Job Offer
- Circa £40,000–£60,000 dependent on background, experience and level of the right professional, plus benefits (negotiable).
