Responsibilities

  • Ensure effective clinical governance and clinical practice in our services. The role will report into our Executive Director of Quality and Compliance.
  • Support the Quality Team in developing, maintaining and improving our clinical governance and ensuring nursing and clinical practice are based on the latest guidance and best practice.
  • Oversee clinical incidents, investigations, and monitor quality returns.
  • Support with policy and strategy development.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • You will hold a Nursing Qualification and have an active PIN. You will also be required to maintain your nursing registration throughout your time in the role.
  • Experience in the social care sector with a genuine commitment to the social model of disability.
  • Management experience in the social care sector.
  • In-depth knowledge of current legislation, policy and practice, including knowledge and experience of care regulators, regulations and standards.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, travel and stay away from home.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills, including preparing formal reports; self-motivated with the ability to set and meet deadlines.
