As a Clinical Negligence Dental Solicitor, you will take ownership of your own caseload, handling claims with autonomy, professionalism, and a proactive, client-focused approach. You will play a key role in delivering positive outcomes for our clients while contributing to the performance and development of the wider team.

Main Responsibilities
- Managing your own Dental Clinical Negligence caseload from instruction to resolution.
- Delivering high-quality support and guidance to colleagues within the team.
- Contributing to effective case progression strategies that are both client-focused and commercially driven.
- Supporting the Team Leader/Head of Department in achieving departmental KPIs.
- Accurate and comprehensive time recording.
You Will Be Responsible For
- Strategic case planning in collaboration with the Team Leader and team members.
- Identifying and progressing cases that are ready for Letter of Claim, settlement, or issue.
- Coordinating casework and gathering key documentation to progress matters efficiently.
- Drafting legal documentation including Letters of Claim and instructions to experts and counsel.
- Negotiating settlements and managing the litigation process where required.
- Reviewing and overseeing correspondence and legal documents produced by junior team members.
- Advising the team on complex or technical case issues, with support from leadership as needed
Essential Skills And Experience
- Experience in Dental Clinical Negligence
- Demonstrable experience managing their own clinical negligence caseload.
- Excellent drafting, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
- A high level of commercial awareness within the legal industry.
- Ability to provide coaching and mentorship to junior colleagues.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Excel, and Proclaim case management software.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering exceptional client care.
- A flexible and proactive approach, with a passion for achieving the best results.
