Overview
We are seeking dedicated Clinical Psychologists to join our independent clinical network. This role offers remote working with limited face‑to‑face sessions in Canterbury and Basingstoke, flexible schedules, and competitive per‑assessment rates. Job is self‑employed, outside IR35.
Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive ASD developmental history assessments using NICE‑compliant methods/tools for children and adults with autism.
Carry out ADHD assessments and, where trained, ADOS‑2 assessmentsli>
Assess children and young people aged 3–18 and adults 18+; observe and engage clients compassionately during sessions.
Review ADOS reports, developmental history, and collateral information to formulate diagnoses.
Provide feedback to families, including recommendations and signposting to local/national resources.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, attend planned clinics, and offer follow‑up diagnosis sessions as needed.
Produce detailed diagnostic reports within 48 hours post‑assessment, adhering to DSM‑5 criteria and template standards.
Make onward referrals in line with local NHS Trust/ICB protocols.
Qualifications & Requirements
\HCPC registered Clinical Psychologist.
Expertise in ASD and ADHD assessments for children, young people, and adults.
Experience with diagnostic tools such as Conners, ADI‑R, DIVA‑5, CAARS, and QB testing.
