Requirements:
Minimum 6 months previous experience in a clinical sister/charge nurse post. Not required to be chemotherapy trained but must complete the in‑house course within the first 6 months. Provide clinical leadership for patients and support junior team members. Deliver person‑centred care of oncology patients and provide SACT safely and effectively.
Core responsibilities:
Lead clinical care of patients in the Lawrence Ward. Support and mentor junior nursing staff. Ensure safe and effective delivery of SACT. Promote and model the Trust’s values: Bold, Every Person Counts, Sharing and Open, Together.
