Overview

As part of SAP's Global Sovereign Cloud Delivery team, you\'ll play a pivotal role in ensuring that Sovereign Cloud regional operations run in a harmonized, secure, and scalable manner. You\'ll work with security-hardened SAP cloud solutions such as SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP), SAP Artificial Intelligence (AI), SAP HANA Cloud, and more. This is a meaningful, high-impact role that safeguards digital sovereignty while driving innovation.

Responsibilities

  • Support Global Solution Experts in defining operating standards for the SAP Sovereign Cloud solutions.
  • Collaborate across global and regional teams to break silos, enhance communication, and align on best practices.
  • Contribute to process improvement and standardization by refining Standard Operating Procedures, Work Instructions, and Knowledge Base content.
  • Drive scalability and harmonization by ensuring consistent deployment practices across regions.
  • Utilize IT Service Management (ITSM)/ITIL processes such as service requests, incident, problem, change, and release management operations.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience in a DevOps role and a bachelor\'s degree in a relevant technical field.
  • A strong analytical mindset, team-player spirit, and a proactive, results-driven approach.
  • Comfortable working in a globally distributed, multi-cultural team and collaborating with diverse stakeholders.
  • A solid understanding of enterprise software applications and IT/Cloud operations.
  • Attention to detail, creativity, innovation, and a quality-first mindset.
  • A high degree of service focus, customer orientation, and operational excellence.
  • Excellent communication skills in English (written and verbal).
  • Willingness to subject yourself to a governmental security clearance process (national security vetting). Additional information available at the UK government site.
