Are you passionate about building secure, scalable cloud services? Join our dynamic team as a Senior Cloud Security Engineer and help shape the future of cybersecurity in a fast‑paced, global environment. This role is offered on a 12‑month contractor basis.
Key Responsibilities
Design and enhance modern cloud‑based cybersecurity services
Implement secure authentication mechanisms (e.g., MFA, Passkeys)
Integrate with identity providers such as Auth0, Transmit Security, and Ping Identity
Develop solutions to detect and prevent account takeover attempts
Optimise the efficiency and resilience of cloud services
Drive continuous improvement in technical standards, tools, and processes
Translate business needs into technical requirements in collaboration with the Product Owner
Oversee deployment and operations across development, testing, and production environments
Collaborate with global teams in Australia and the U.S. to share insights and best practices
Required Qualifications
Strong expertise in cloud computing and services (AWS experience preferred)
Proficiency in TypeScript and REST API development (NestJS experience preferred)
Deep understanding of cloud security principles, including IAM, networking, and encryption
Experience with web services and microservices‑based architectures
Excellent communication skills, capable of bridging technical and non‑technical stakeholders
Familiarity with agile development methodologies; experience with Scrum is a plus
Passion for continuous learning and professional development
