Are you passionate about building secure scalable cloud services Join our dynamic team as a Senior Cloud Security Engineer and help shape the future of cybersecurity in a fast-paced global environment. This role is being offered on a 12-month contractor basis.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and enhance modern cloud-based cybersecurity services
• Implement secure authentication mechanisms (e.g. MFA Passkeys)
• Integrate with identity providers such as Auth0 Transmit Security and Ping Identity
• Develop solutions to detect and prevent account takeover attempts
• Optimise the efficiency and resilience of cloud services
• Drive continuous improvement in technical standards tools and processes
• Translate business needs into technical requirements in collaboration with the Product Owner
• Oversee deployment and operations across development testing and production environments
• Collaborate with global teams in Australia and the U.S. to share insights and best practices

Required Qualifications

• Strong expertise in cloud computing and services (AWS experience preferred)
• Proficiency in TypeScript and REST API development (NestJS experience preferred)
• Deep understanding of cloud security principles including IAM networking and encryption
• Experience with web services and microservices-based architectures
• Excellent communication skills capable of bridging technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Familiarity with agile development methodologies; experience with Scrum is a plus
• Passion for continuous learning and professional development
