Job Title: Cloud Technical Lead / Enterprise Architect – AWS

Role Overview

We are seeking a Cloud Technical Lead / Enterprise Architect to act as the technical authority for cloud architecture and infrastructure governance. You will play a key role in the design, review, and evolution of cloud-native and hybrid solutions, ensuring architectural alignment across the business. This is a hands-on role, providing guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and collaborating with stakeholders, clients, and technical teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide technical authority for cloud architecture and infrastructure governance.
• Design, review, and evolve cloud-native and hybrid solutions.
• Work closely with platform engineering and infrastructure teams to ensure alignment.
• Remain hands-on with Infrastructure as Code (IaC), deployments, and environment configuration.
• Support and mentor junior engineers.
• Build strong relationships with internal and external partners, including clients and technical teams.

Skills and Experience

• AWS subject matter expert with experience in Enterprise Architecture for AWS-based solutions.
• Strong background in automation and delivery through code.
• Hands-on experience with Terraform, Ansible, CI/CD pipelines, Kubernetes, and GitHub.
• Familiarity with managed services and post-implementation support.
• Understanding of ITIL frameworks and end-to-end delivery.
• Infrastructure and networking knowledge is advantageous.
• Experience working in Agile teams.

Security Clearance

• SC Clearance is required. Candidates must have resided continuously in the UK for the last 5 years.
• Some posts may be restricted to sole UK Nationals for security reasons.
