Your Responsibilities Will Include

  • Executing key systems engineering activities on significant projects
  • Engaging with external and internal stakeholders to ensure customer and business needs are satisfied and issues are mitigated
  • Performing one or more key systems engineering activities (e.g., requirements engineering, system design, operation and support)
  • Contributing to technical documentation in support of the work carried out
  • Delivering work and reporting on progress to project leads and customers
  • Understanding and applying relevant regulatory, safety and technical standards to ensure compliance

Essential Experience

  • Relevant experience in an aligned engineering field
  • Proven experience in Maritime Systems, or Radar, Sonar, C2 or Weapons
  • Experience in Test & Evaluation or Integration

Essential Qualifications

  • Honours Degree in Engineering, Physics or similar. HNC/D Level qualification acceptable with appropriate experience

Working Arrangements

This role is 37 hours per week and based at our Bristol or Portsmouth site. Hybrid working patterns are available. Travel to other QinetiQ and customer sites will be expected.
