RECRUITING NOW - Commercial Account Executive | Hybrid working - Midlands (Leicester or Northampton) | To £60,000 + benefits

We’re working on a fantastic opportunity for a Commercial Account Executive to join a well reputed and still growing broker in Leicester or Northampton.

This role comes with a solid base of existing clients, giving you a strong foundation to work from, while also leaving plenty of room to go after new business. If you’ve got a few years of experience in commercial insurance, enjoy managing client relationships, and want to grow your own book, this could be a perfect next step.

You’ll get the chance to balance portfolio management with new business development in a supportive, ambitious environment.

Role Overview:

• Looking after a portfolio of loyal commercial clients
• Building new relationships and winning new business
• Providing tailored insurance advice across a wide range of sectors
• Handling renewals, policy changes, and market negotiations
• Staying on top of compliance and FCA regulations
• Collaborating with colleagues and mentoring junior staff when needed

About You:

• A few years of experience as an Account Executive in commercial insurance
• Confident managing existing clients and developing new business
• Good knowledge of insurance products and the UK commercial market
• Experience with platforms like Acturis (or similar)
• A solid understanding of FCA and Consumer Duty standards
• ACII qualification or a willingness to work towards it (fully supported)
