About the role

The Commercial Finance Business Partner sits within our FP&A team and reports to the FP&A Manager, with a core focus on Revenue and Gross profit performance of the business.

As the Commercial Finance Business Partner, you will sit at the heart of our strategic planning and decision‑making processes. Your role will involve providing valuable analysis and insights to drive sustainable top‑line growth, margin improvement and development of new business streams.

Key responsibilities

  • Partner with divisional heads to provide financial analysis, insight and recommendations to support business on strategic and tactical decisions
  • Partner with business stakeholders to understand key revenue drivers
  • Budgeting and forecasting to support annual planning, forecasting and 3‑year plan development
  • Preparation of monthly management reporting, variance analysis and commentary for senior management
  • Building and maintaining financial models to support strategic initiatives and investment decisions
  • Conduct deep‑dive analysis on business performance, trends and variances
  • Working with teams to identify and track KPIs, and develop action plans to improve results

What we are looking for

  • Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent)
  • 1‑3 years experience in a Commercial Finance/FP&A environment
  • Strong commercial acumen with the ability to influence non‑finance stakeholders
  • Loves data and has excellent analytical, financial modelling and Excel/Google Sheets skills
  • Able to both independently and collaboratively in a fast‑paced environment
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to present financial information clearly to both financial and non‑financial stakeholders
