A PE backed consumer business is recruiting a highly Commercial Finance Director. This company is highly successful and has a prominent brand in the sector. The are a sizeable business, looking to open new sites and now, aiming for their next stage of growth. They are looking for a Commercial Finance Director reporting to the CEO to join their team.

As the Commercial Finance Director, you will be the key partner to the CEO and be responsible for leading finance as well as working with non-finance to drive the business growth. You will lead on Business Partnering and FP&A where they are seeking depth of skill and experience. They will need someone who is effective business partnering with non-finance Heads of Department driving revenue and margin. This will be a varied role where you will be involved in operational strategy, business cases for new opening and act as a trusted partner at the hip to the CEO. This role will have significant interaction with the board and investors. This role will also have a small team underneath you.

The candidate must be a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) and will be comfortable working in a dynamic and commercial environment. The successful candidate will be a qualified accountant with a successful track record in commercial roles in a fast paced business. Candidates with multi-site experience – retail, leisure, Hospitality – will be advantageous. This is a superb opportunity to join an exciting business in a Commercial role with autonomy.

The role would be paying a six figure basic salary plus bonus, benefits and equity. The job opportunity is based in central London (zone 1) with hybrid working.
