If so then we have the role for you.In this role as Commercial Finance Manager, you will be expected to provide clear interpretation and analysis of the financial information and business KPIs to the operational leads to drive revenues, improve efficiencies and identify opportunities.As the Commercial Finance Manager, you will be expected to partner your key stakeholders in detailed financial and performance analysis, assist in bid reviews and modelling exercises, and be responsible for identifying and driving out working capital opportunities. Managing balance sheet and cash flow reviews is also an integral part of the role.This role will include monitoring, interpreting and challenging financial results and communicating issues, risks, opportunities and trends, performance outlook including competitor activity and market trends to the management team on a timely basis. You will report on and ensure integrity and completeness of management information contained in the financial systems of the business.The Commercial Manager will conduct critical reviews of the performance of the contracts within the business, identifying trends, areas of underperformance and potential opportunities including managing the GP improvement plans. You will provide support and analysis to key stakeholders for strategic and operational business decisions as well as manage and monitor the contract terms, conditions, and contract obligations.ResponsibilitiesProvide clear interpretation and analysis of financial information and KPIs to operational leads to drive revenues and efficiencies.Partner with key stakeholders in detailed financial and performance analysis; assist in bid reviews and modelling exercises.Identify and drive working capital opportunities; manage balance sheet and cash flow reviews.Monitor, interpret, and challenge financial results; communicate issues, risks, opportunities and trends to management.Ensure integrity and completeness of management information in financial systems.Conduct critical reviews of contract performance; identify trends and opportunities; manage GP improvement plans.Support strategic and operational business decisions with analysis; monitor contract terms and obligations.Ideal Candidate / QualificationsProfessionally Qualified/Part-Qualified (ACA, CIMA or equivalent) or demonstrable relevant experience with a desire to progress.Knowledge of reducing working capital in a similar business.Proven ability to meet deadlines in a commercial environment.Demonstrated commercial knowledge that provides value-added service to the business.Experience partnering with business managers to drive growth.Strong Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills.UK valid driving license and access to your own vehicle.Location, Hours & BenefitsLocation: Hybrid (Northamptonshire, England, United Kingdom)Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to FridayBenefits: Monthly car allowance; Healthcare cover; Life Insurance; Employee Discounts via Perkbox; Cycle to Work Scheme; Access to a virtual GP and Health & Wellbeing App; Training & DevelopmentEmployment DetailsEmployment type: Full-timeSeniority level: Mid-Senior levelJob function: FinanceOur equal opportunities statement: Apleona is an equal opportunities employer who delivers facilities management services to clients all over the UK.If this sounds like a job for you, click on the apply button and we will start the process.
