Opportunity

The Commercial Finance Manager will be responsible for providing financial insight and commercial decision support to key stakeholders, ensuring the business continues to scale effectively. You will also oversee one member of staff and play a pivotal role in driving financial performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Management reporting – ownership of divisional financial reporting, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Business partnering – working closely with operational leaders to drive financial performance and strategic decision-making.
  • Forecasting & budgeting – preparing robust financial plans and challenging assumptions.
  • Financial analysis – identifying trends, risks, and opportunities to support commercial decisions.
  • Process improvements – enhancing reporting frameworks and financial processes.
  • Team leadership – managing and mentoring one finance team member.
  • Stakeholder engagement – regular interaction with the senior leadership team.

Person

The ideal candidate will be a fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with experience in both financial reporting and commercial finance. You will be analytically strong, commercially minded, and confident in working with senior stakeholders.

Ideally you will be:

  • Fully qualified (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with post-qualification experience.
  • Experienced in both financial reporting and commercial finance.
  • Able to demonstrate strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to challenge and influence.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Advanced Excel and financial modelling skills.
