We are seeking a skilled Field Service Engineer to join a small and friendly team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing on-site technical support and maintenance services to our customers.

Salary: £33,000 - £46,500 per annum depending on experience

Location: Manchester. This is a nationwide on the road position

Position: Full Time / Permanent. Monday to Friday with infrequent weekend overtime available

Location: The company is based in Glossop, Derbyshire. This role is a nationwide on the road position, meaning there may be time spent away from home. When working away from home is required, this will be carefully managed to ensure a good work life balance.

Responsibilities

• Conduct installations, repairs, and maintenance of equipment at customer sites


• Perform troubleshooting and diagnostics to identify issues and implement solutions


• Provide training to customers on the proper use and maintenance of equipment


• Document service activities, including service reports and parts usage


• Collaborate with the engineering and office team to provide feedback on product performance and remedial actions.

Qualifications

• Commercial Gas Ticket


• Proven experience in field service engineering or a related field


• Strong technical knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and gas experience


• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently


• Outstanding communication skills and customer-oriented approach
