Overview Commercial Litigation Solicitor/FCILEX | Bristol (Hybrid) | 5+ PQE | £55k - £70k | Legal 500 Firm If you’re an experienced commercial litigator with five or more years’ PQE and you’re ready to take on a senior role, this is an excellent opportunity to join one of Bristol’s best-known mid-sized firms. Their Associate and Training Academies reflect a real commitment to development, progression, and wellbeing. The commercial litigation team is at the heart of the firm’s dispute resolution offering. You’ll be joining a highly collaborative group, working alongside colleagues in Corporate + Commercial, Commercial Property, Employment, and Property Litigation. The caseload is varied and high-value, covering everything from contractual and shareholder disputes to professional negligence, insolvency, debt recovery, and claims arising out of corporate acquisitions. The work frequently involves ADR and mediation, and there’s scope to be hands-on with advocacy depending on your skills and interest. Responsibilities
As a Senior Lawyer, run your own caseload, supervise junior lawyers, and take a leading role in developing client relationships and business opportunities. Help shape the direction of the team and raise its profile, both within the firm and externally. Engage in business development activities to grow the practice and client base. Collaborate with colleagues across practice areas to deliver integrated client service. Advocate when appropriate, and contribute to ADR/mediation processes.
Requirements
Solicitor or FCILEx with a solid track record in commercial litigation. Strong technical and client-handling skills. Genuine enthusiasm for business development. Previous supervisory or management experience would be advantageous.
