Hand Picked Magazines, the luxury lifestyle publications of the renowned Hand Picked Hotels collection, is seeking a dynamic and commercially minded Commercial Assistant to support our Head of Publications. This is a rare opportunity to play an integral role in a high-quality, award-winning magazine that champions storytelling, creativity, and premium brand partnerships.

What will the role involve?

Join Hand Picked Magazine as a driving force behind our commercial success, where you’ll pitch and sell premium advertising space across our print and digital platforms, forging meaningful relationships with prestigious clients, luxury brands, and visionary collaborators. Working closely with our Head of Publications, you’ll help shape and execute an ambitious commercial strategy, from developing compelling media packs and pitch decks to crafting bespoke branded content opportunities. You’ll attend high-level meetings, coordinate elegant events and photoshoots, and ensure every campaign is flawlessly delivered from securing artwork to tracking results with precision. With your keen eye for new business, creative flair, and meticulous attention to detail, you’ll be an influential ambassador for Hand Picked Magazines, representing our brand with style at industry gatherings, editorial discussions, and client functions.

• Proven track record in premium sales, with experience identifying revenue opportunities, creating bespoke advertising packages, and converting leads into long-term partnerships within luxury media.
• Established expertise in managing high-end client relationships, confidently negotiating deals, championing brand values, and driving repeat business with top-tier advertisers.
• Creative commercial approach, with a history of developing branded content and editorial collaborations that deliver strong ROI while authentically aligning with editorial vision.
