OverviewJob Title: Business Analyst – Commercial & PricingLocation: London (Hybrid – 3 days office, 2 days from home)Department: Commercial UK & IrelandReports to: Commercial Pricing DirectorEmployment Type: Full-time, PermanentAbout the RoleWe’re looking for a commercially minded Business Analyst with strong financial acumen and a keen eye for detail to join our growing team. Based in London, you’ll play a pivotal role in supporting high-value bids and commercial opportunities across our soft services offering — including cleaning, catering, front-of-house, and security.Working at the intersection of operations, finance, and business development, you’ll be instrumental in shaping pricing models and commercial strategies that drive contract wins, client retention, and long-term value.Key ResponsibilitiesAnalyse bid documentation and commercial requirements to inform pricing strategy and solution design.Build, own, and manage detailed financial models, including P&Ls, cost breakdowns, and cashflow forecasts.Support the bid lifecycle from initial qualification through to post-submission negotiations.Work closely with operational leads, procurement, HR, and legal to gather inputs, validate assumptions, and ensure pricing accuracy.Identify risks and opportunities in commercial models and present findings clearly to senior stakeholders.Apply top-down and bottom-up pricing techniques aligned with internal benchmarks and external market trends.Prepare high-quality commercial summaries and support internal approvals through the commercial sign-off process.Ensure smooth handover of commercial models and assumptions to mobilisation teams upon contract award.What We’re Looking ForProven experience (3+ years) in a Business Analyst, Commercial Analyst, or Pricing role — ideally within Facilities Management or outsourced services.Strong analytical mindset and commercial awareness, with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and shape business decisions.Advanced Excel skills and confidence working with financial models.Understanding of FM operations and related cost drivers, including TUPE and wage legislation.Strong interpersonal and communication skills – able to collaborate effectively across functions and influence key stakeholders.Comfortable working to tight deadlines in a fast-paced, bid-driven environment.Experience working with both public and private sector clients is desirable.Why Join Us?Hybrid working model: 3 days in our London office (Canary Wharf), 2 days from home.Be part of a respected, forward-thinking global organisation.High visibility role with real impact on commercial success.Supportive, fast-paced team environment with strong career progression potential.Competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package.Ready to bring commercial insight to real-world business decisions?Apply today and take the next step in your business analysis career with ISS. #J-18808-Ljbffr
